THEN

I lay beside you, the last few hours to dawn, as the moon grows older,
I wish I knew, your dream, as I listen you breathe on my shoulder!
Could I could carry you home, hold your hands, and show you the way,
I wish I was high, fleeing from the starlight nights, just running away!
You showed me the world I have never seen; can you promise me a tomorrow?
I wish I knew, to unlock your destiny, as I feel your smell, in a night so yellow!
The last few hours of the dawn, the last surrender, I don’t want it to end,
The first rays of the sun, would take you away, I don’t want the night to pass!
I have never stopped loving you!
NOW

It has been long; I didn’t see your sunflower smile,
The wishes dancing and the kisses flying,
I still remember your smell and your touch,
A hundred times over!
I can still write poetries for you, and sing you lullabies,
I won’t tire to look into your doe- eyes, and ask you if you still love me.
A hundred times over!
You are still the brightest star in my lonely sky!
I still could go all the way up and place the moon at your feet,
And the stars too!
I am still crazy for that touch of yours, ruffling my hairs,
Fleeting glances, and unforgiving desires,
I can still die for you, or if you want I can kill you again,
A hundred times over!
I wish I could hang the gods, and run away (with you),
It has been long that I didn’t look into your eyes, see the love in them!
I have only heard that it still burns deep somewhere!
I have written you a song today, just to say, that I can still carry you home!
That I still think of the last few hours to dawn,
As I watched you breathe and listen to your dreams
You will always be the brightest star, in my lonely sky!
I don’t mind if you are 24 or 64, my love for ye will never die!
